Are you still struggling on a week on week fitness plan and at the end achieving nothing or very little? Well, if that’s the case it is time to change gear and instead follow a yearly fitness plan to keep up your energy and health all year long. Check out this month on month health and fitness plan and feel fit every day of the month.


Kick start January

Start your year with a bit of sports activity. You need to adapt two activities at a time. It is the best way to maintain and strike a balance. You can go for bicycle, jump rope and run on a treadmill or even work out on the elliptical. The main point is to work out hard, at least twice in the day. Once in the morning and once in the night. You have to maintain this pattern for at least five to six days in a week. You also need to go for interval training in which you need to perform intense cardio for at least one minute, then take rest for around 30 seconds and then repeat it all over again.

Burn fat in February

February is the month of romance and hence it becomes important to take care of your heart and safeguard it against a number of heart diseases. For February fitness you need to cut down your cardio to once a day with around five to six days a week. Give it alternates between treadmill, bike and elliptical. The gap that you need to follow is do vigorous exercise for one or two minutes, and then relax for one minute. Follow the same pattern for 20 minutes. You can surely pamper yourself with a small treat of organic dark chocolate…after all its Valentine!

March Take it outdoors

Ladies, the bikini season is right around the corner. This is the perfect month to take your workout outdoors. Go for high jumps, fast starts and quick stops and get some fun and excitement in your practice. You also need to do the hoops this month and tighten up your thighs and butt.
April is for abs
For April fitness regimen, get your abs in perfect shape and also strengthen your entire core through Pilates. It is better to do for Pilates rather than focusing only on abdominal muscles. This will help bring strength to your entire body. Sure Pilates focuses on your abs, but it also prepares your entire body, making it dare to bare for the beach.

May – Try something New

So, summer has finally hit and it is the perfect weather to mix and match your workout. Every day of the week, you can try out something new. Take a bike ride through the city on one day, jog along the run trails and simply enjoy the spring weather. There is multiple options available right from power walk, outdoor volleyball to rollerblade. Simply enjoy the outdoors and stay fit.

June, July, August

Yes, at this point working outdoors with the mercury going all crazy, doesn’t sound very inviting. However, this very same increased temperature will burn the toxins from your body and of course the sun can be a natural source of Vitamin D. outdoor exercising can not only help you socialize and have more fun as compared to your gym workouts, but the natural conditions also make you more beautiful and fresh from inside.

Water fun with September

One of the things that is extremely tempting is to have fun water exercises. There are many activities that you can do, however you can do rounds between lap pool workouts and natural water workouts. But as a precautionary method, always have a friend or companion in a close supervised area.

Keep the warmth there in October

There is going to be a dip in temperature now, but that doesn’t mean that your workouts should catch the cold wave. For this month, you can try a number of yoga poses that can be practiced in a room heated to 95 to 100F. if you are thinking, why hot yoga, then this is one form of yoga that is sure to make you sweat profusely and will continue to help in getting rid of toxins from your body. You will be amazed at how flexible you have become in a short span of time.

Let’s get fast in November

How about a bit of spinning in November? After all, who said exercising has to be boring. One of the interesting ways to keep fit is by joining a spin class. These are high energy packed with aerobics and high intensity workouts that will keep you moving and steaming every minute of a common 90 minute class.

Let’s sizzle in December

So, finally the year is going to draw to a close and you definitely deserve to make the best of it. After all, you have come so far and things are so exciting. This time take your exercise workout to the bedroom. Yes, you got it right, I am asking you to get naughty. So, throw the gym clothes out and enjoy half hour of naked activity. You will burn around 85 calories or even more. And if you think, that’s not enough, calculate how much you will burn in 42 sessions. This means that you can lose up to 12 pounds in a year by simply having a good time. Can it really get any hotter than this?
